1. What We Do

YourPal Texas operates homeowner education websites and referral platforms that connect homeowners with participating independent contractors. We provide informational resources and referral services. We do not supervise, direct, or control the work performed by independent contractors.

2. For Homeowners

• Submitting a request is free and creates no obligation to hire anyone.
• We make reasonable efforts to connect homeowners with participating contractors but cannot guarantee contractor availability, response times, pricing, scheduling, or project outcomes.
• Any agreement, payment, or dispute regarding the work itself is between you and the contractor directly.

3. For Contractors

• Joining the network requires a one-time profile setup fee and agreement to our Network Code of Conduct.
• Leads are routed per our Lead Fairness Policy; you have 24 hours to make contact once a lead is assigned.
• Lead fees become payable only after YourPal reasonably verifies that meaningful contact occurred between the assigned contractor and the homeowner, in accordance with the Lead Fairness Policy.
• YourPal reserves the right to suspend, limit, or terminate a contractor’s participation at its sole discretion for violations of the Network Code of Conduct, these Terms, or conduct that may negatively affect homeowners or the reputation of the network.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the site — including submitting false information, attempting to bypass the referral and billing process, or using the site to harass or defraud another user.

5. Limitation of Liability

YourPal Texas is not responsible for the acts, omissions, workmanship, pricing, warranties, representations, schedules, or performance of independent contractors. Homeowners should exercise their own judgment before hiring any contractor.

6. Indemnification

You agree to hold YourPal Texas harmless from any claim, loss, or damage arising from your use of the site or your dealings with a contractor or homeowner found through it.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on this site — including text, logos, and design — belongs to YourPal Texas unless otherwise noted, and may not be reused without permission.

8. User-Submitted Content

Any reviews, photos, or information you submit may be displayed on the site. You confirm you have the right to submit it and grant YourPal permission to use it for that purpose.

9. External Links

Our site may link to third-party websites (including contractor sites). We aren’t responsible for their content or practices.

10. Privacy

Our collection and use of your information is described in our Privacy Policy.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

12. Severability

If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
